On Tuesday 25 June 2013, Flanders' DRIVE organizes a seminar on the Challenges in Vehicle Electrification, mainly focusing on wireless charging solutions for EVs and, more particularly, on the results of the research project ‘Inductive Charging".
In this project, Flanders' DRIVE and 11 partner organizations examined the feasibility, efficiency and practical applicability of inductive charging for electric vehicles, focusing both on stationary applications for cars and buses and dynamic applications for buses.
Specialists involved in the research project will share the in-depth expertise they acquired and illustrate their vision on future possibilities.
Our keynote speaker from Volvo Car Corporation (Sweden) will explain the strategy for vehicle electrification of the company.
Don't miss this opportunity to meet and listen to leading experts from among others Bombardier, Belgian Road Research Center, Infrax, Inverto, Van Hool and Volvo Cars Company.
To top it all, participants will have the opportunity to attend the first public demonstration of stationary 22-kW inductive fast charging of a Volvo C30 electric.
We look forward to welcoming you at Flanders' DRIVE on 25 June 2013.
